The vehicle industry market cherishes this rather controversial number plate, due to its association with celebrity history, and it's upfront shock value.
The current owners of the this plate number are none other than Billy and Hanna Smart (those from the Big Top Circus). They managed to carry it off without much fuss, though it certainly gets them all sorts of attention. In fact, the plate number managed to snag the attention of the Queen herself, when the Royal Vehicle walked past her in Windsor Great Park, where Hanna's Land Rover with the nasty plate number was parked.
The plate number was previously owned by the owner of Soho nightclub Paul Raymond, whose former Fiona Richmond, a blonde former actress used to have the cheeky plate on her yellow E-type Jaguar. The plate was eventually sold to Billy Smart (with some convincing from Fiona's part).
The early days of the plate was a source of much amusement for Fiona. The police were definitely interested in her plate, with some officers following her home just to ask her about it. Other memories included many people yelling "Fiona Fiona" after her, a lot of them assuming she was Fiona Richmond.
The plate has been with Hanna for 25 years, and she is finally thinking of giving it up so someone else can have their fun with it. It is rude in a mildly amusing way, though people should have the open mind of not assuming it's meant to aggravate, but merely to get attention when traffic makes everything dull
